My Story

Hello, my name is Marisa! In 2014, I started my career as a certified veterinary technician. Prior to making a career change to the esthetics field, I spent most of my time in the vet world. I would monitor anesthesia on animals during surgery, conduct pre-surgical lab work, assist in animal labor and delivery, perform dental cleanings, and so on.

Shortly after opening my own business, I made the decision to return to veterinary medicine as an ER vet tech on the weekends. A recent addition to my family is Ellie, a sweet mutt puppy who was abandoned and my husband and I decided to make her a part of our lives.

In my personal life, I always had a great passion for skin care and beauty. I spent countless hours researching the science behind skin care, cutting edge technology, and the latest products. I decided to turn my passion into a career. In 2022, I graduated from Mequon-Thiensville School of Esthetics and obtained my Aesthetician License through the State of Wisconsin.

Prior to starting Marisa’s Glowtique, I was employed through Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin. I worked with many talented plastic surgeons and dermatologists. I loved my time helping many patients from many different backgrounds and skin care concerns. While I loved the challenges faced, I wanted to open my own esthetics suite to expand my services and reach a wide array of clients.

Here at Marisa’s Glowtique, I hope to provide a variety of services and personalized care to address your specific concerns and needs. Every client will have a personalized skin care/routine consultation prior to the first service. I want all clients to achieve their best skin care results, and glow from the inside out!
